A new series by Haba Akifumi, "Back-rank" started on Magazine Pocket today, June 5th.

"Back-rank" is a suspense story about police officer Noritaka Tsukio, who is tasked with infiltrating a gang that dominates the underworld. Tsukio is so calm and collected that he is called a robot, but one day, his boss calls him and tells him to quit the police force. This is the prologue to a grand project by the Public Security Bureau to eradicate the Yakuza that are rampant in Japan from the roots. Tsukio will have to go through a test to join the Public Security Bureau.
